Lesson Plans

The Teacher’s Sex Ed Toolkit includes a series of lesson plans on various sexual health topics. They allow teachers to integrate sex ed into the courses they already teach. The Teacher’s Sex Ed Toolkit plans include activities, worksheets, resources, and step-by-step instructions for teaching students about sexual health topics from contraception and STIs to healthy relationships and body image. These plans conform to Quebec’s Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES) curriculum objectives, making them ideal for teachers in Quebec.

Our elementary lesson plans cover the themes and topics required by the MEES as outlined in their Learning Content in Sexuality Education document. However, they can also be freely used by teachers in any jurisdiction! Our lessons cover learning content targeting students from kindergarten to grade 6, and they are specifically adapted to meet the needs of learners of different ages. They explore topics such as puberty, sexual and gender identity, and consent. We are currently in the process of developing lesson plans to cover the entirety of the MEES sexual health program, so check back frequently for more lessons!

All of our teaching resources are completely free and are easily downloadable and printable.
